What’s Happening Right Now

May 14, 2026: Archbald Borough Council held its fourth conditional use hearing for the Wildcat Ridge Data Center Campus, and the applicant's case continued to deteriorate. What was intended to be a straightforward acoustic expert presentation became an extended cross-examination that exposed serious flaws in the noise study. Highlights include the discovery of a 10 decibel error in the submitted report; equipment calibration certificates that fall short of the borough ordinance's own ANSI standards with the expert herself unable to guarantee the results; zero low frequency noise analysis despite 10 large power transformers on site; 210 chillers left entirely out of the noise model; and three different generator counts across the application's own documents, none of which matched what was actually modeled. A fifth hearing is scheduled for Monday, June 15th at 5 PM.

Opening Statement

Residents of the Valley, and especially Archbald, are facing an unprecedented wave of proposed industrial data center development that threatens our community's health, safety, quality of life, and long-term character.

We are a grassroots group of everyday people working hard to hold borough officials accountable and ensure our voices are heard in this process.
